Kitchen sink clogs are often due to grease and fat buildup. One way to avoid this is to run the garbage disposal regularly to break up discarded food. If you don't have a disposal or the drain is already clogged with grease, remedy the situation with a few household items. A solution of baking soda, vinegar and boiling water should help clear the clogged drain.Difficulty:Moderately EasyInstructions Things You'll NeedSauce panMeasuring cupBaking sodaVinegar1

2Pour a cup of baking soda into the drain.
3Pour a coup of vinegar into the drain. Cover and wait 15 to 30 minutes for the solution to break down the grease.
4Boil another pot of water and pour the boiling water down the drain. Normal water flow should resume. Repeat as necessary.
